5 Elements Retreat in Greece Date TBC

Imagine how it would feel to spend a week away from your daily stresses, surrounded by nature, where you’ll have time to tend to what YOU need.  To fully relax, to breathe, to let go.  A week of total self care to get your body and mind feeling and functioning better.  We’re passionate about helping people make small changes that create massive improvements to their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing and that’s why on this Retreat we’re going to be sharing our knowledge with you.

We’re serious about teaching people tools for personal transformation but we also enjoy a healthy dose of good clean fun!  On this Retreat you are going to move, stretch, relax, release, dance, shake, lose yourself, find yourself, maybe even surprise yourself.  You’re going to chill-out, bliss-out and veg-out, all in the gorgeous Greek sunshine.

Rich will be leading your mornings, getting your energy flowing with his vinyasa yoga and movement classes.  He’s a writer, a thinker and a music lover so he’ll be sharing his extensive knowledge of yoga philosophy whilst expertly guiding you in your practice, all accompanied by a soundtrack of great music.  His eclectic taste spans from Bob Marley to Beetles to Bowie, whilst dropping in tracks from India to Native America along the way.

We’re massive fans of healthy, colourful, nutritious and delicious food and our culinary genius and all round super-lovely chef Jill will be creating vegetarian brunch and dinner dishes to amaze and delight your tastebuds.  In the afternoons she’ll be knocking up smoothies and sugar-free treats so tasty you’ll want to ditch refined sugar for good.  (Bold statement I know, but trust me….!)

With your bellies satisfied, you’ll then be choosing where in the extensive grounds you wish to relax and while away your afternoon.  Perhaps you’ll meander to the pool with that book you’ve been meaning to read.  Maybe you’ll want to hang out and chat with your new friends.  Or you may prefer to seek out a secluded spot and take a snooze in a hammock.

Our Retreat theme is the 5 Elements - Water, Wood, Earth, Fire, Ether - and each day we’ll delve into and embody a different element and understand its relevance in our lives.  Mid-week we’ll all take a walk to the nearest beach where you’ll bask on the beach and bathe in the crystal clear Aegean Sea.

If you have niggles and knots that need addressing, Alison will be providing therapeutic relief for your body and soul with her deep and delicious Shiatsu and massage therapies.  You already have an included Shiatsu treatment with her but you may want to take advantage of having an expert Therapist on hand.  Just imagine the luxury of a blissfully relaxing treatment, outside in nature and then NOT having to fight the traffic or cook anyone dinner afterwards!!!

As the afternoon sun begins to fade, Rich will guide you through a gorgeously slow and relaxing Yin Yoga session to ease you into the evening.  Then as the sun sets we’ll finish the day with another delicious feast, accompanied with cups of tea, good conversation and even some star-gazing.

You’ll be flying into Athens and then its under an hour’s drive, crossing via bridge or ferry to the the island of Evia (also called Euboea); Greece’s second largest island (after Crete).  It’s a nature lover’s dream, boasting sparkling sapphire sea, gorgeous beaches, lush forests and spectacular mountains.

Your home for the week is a secluded, spacious and well-cared for villa with its own swimming pool and vegetable garden.  It has breathtaking and unspoilt 360 degree views of olive groves, fig, apricot and quince trees and mountains in the distance.
